Check this picture out. I think if I had this for a keyboard, I really wouldn’t be spending time on the internet, but getting fat.
Cleaning your computer and making it faster!
I thought I would post a link to this wonderful article on making your computer faster. I get questions all the time about how to fix or clean someones computer. Well …. They are not really questions more request to fix there computer.
This article by Maximum PC is great though. They focus on speed, but speed is basically having a clean computer and they cover not only the basics, but some really nice tricks.
It may be a little advanced for the average user, but it is still a good read for them. Especially the part about actually cleaning your computer. I mean, turning it off, opening the case and blowing out all that dust. You have no idea how many times I’ve shown up to some ones house and looked at the computer and seen four inch dust bunnies coming out of the back of it. I had one person who when I open up there computer, I was able to show them were it caught on fire and explain were the weird burning smell was coming from. The funning thing was once I got it all cleaned out, even with one of the pci slots burnt to a crisp, it started working fine and has for about 8 months now with no random restarts.
